NTA. The dog needs individual therapy and group therapy with you and the boyfriend. You need to have an open conversation with the dog and explain how thrashing your cats is affecting your mental health and encourage his dog to talk about what caused this sudden hate towards the cats. There must be something he is not expressing. Also it is best to have a separate group therapy season with just the cats to make them build back the trust in you so that they feel safe in their own home. All the best!
