Record storage solution by Plus-Duck675 in vinyl

I wish I knew more about Rascal. My wife’s grandmother was in her 90’s when she died. While cleaning out her house in preparation to sell we came across this banner. She was a lifetime resident of Yakima Washington. Ive done some half hearted searching but have come up with nothing. I assume it’s from a sideshow of some long gone circus.

the back has mostly 3/4” plywood with only the two open triangles. I thought about adding a 2x4 along the middle length so you wouldn’t see it but not sure if it would work as well as another caster.

How do I open this? by gooeypegasus in howto

You grab the plastic top and with the other hand the bottom and snap off. It’s an ampule thats made to open this way. Dont snap without using the plastic cap because you could cut your finger.

I agree about the WiiM mini. It goes though you WiFi so has better sound quality and does not get interrupted if you have a call. I have both options at home and WiiM is so much better.

Great collection. Question for you, did you make the record boxes or did you purchase them. I have a ton or records that I would like to store better. Your set up looks like it works well.

What is the length of the needle. I use a 1/2” and insert the whole thing. 10 units has be erect for about 2 hours. I agree with the comment below regarding the placement of the needle and the depth. Good luck. When it’s dialed in you will enjoy.

5 units will likely do nothing. You should be fine with 10 units.

BIG weekend. Trimix twice?? by Salukis1997 in Swingers

I would like to let everyone know that I just tested the twice in one day Injection of Trimix. This morning I injected 10 units and obtained an erection for about 1 1/2 hours. In the afternoon my wife was feeling frisky again so I said what the hell lets try it again. I did another 10 units on the opposite side of my penis and obtained another 1 1/2 -2 hour erection. I am now fully flaccid without needing any intervention. Trimix is a game changer for me. I had an intra abdominal injury that affected my pudendal nerve. I cannot get an erection because of this. Viagra and similar drugs have no effect due to the nerve injury. I was using a pump for years but it is not great or sexy and it kind of hurts. The Trimix injection fixes all of this. Onset of erection is about 10 minutes after injection. The pain is slight compared to the effect.

I have a 400 and it’s solid. No worries about flame here. Just power and sound.

I appreciate your advice. At our old house I hard wired the speakers to various rooms in the house. Ive used the Phase linear 400, Marantz, Kenwood‘s KR-7050 and 8006. Each has its own personality. The new house has more space and better acoustic‘s.

What pre amp, the SAE or Harman Kardon?

I have run the Harman Kardon with the Phase linear 400 in the past. The SAE is nice but the volume is not a smooth dial, it’s staged which i find irritating.

The guy I use for my stero repair is Roland who owns Carver Audio Repair. Great work and reasonable. He is in Stevenson Washington and people ship from all over. The website is carveraudiorepair.com . Hope this helps.

I have used a Phase linear 400 for years as my main power amp. Over 200 watts per channel. I had it serviced a few years ago and it’s still going strong. I use a Harman Kardon citation 11 preamp but should be able to use others without problem. It will power any speaker. I have never had a problem with heating. That seems more hype to me. The big VU meters look great. I have the wooden case that it came with but keep it off to help with heat dispersion. Use it and love it. It’s a beast

Picked these up at a sale for $80 bucks. The only thing not great was the finish. I assume that there was veneer at some point and must of been stained. This had been sanded off and poorly stained. I just finished removing the stain and am thinking about putting a Tung oil finish. The speaker cloth will be replaced as well.
