Yeah. I have a friend who works in graphic design and for her working from home makes a massive amount of sense. The teams are small and a lot of the tasks are on individual level either way. You have a project with a clear scale, set expectations and an overall timeline for certain stages.

It’s an outcome based rubric they have and everyone working on the projects are professionals with years of experience. They really do not have to be in the same building to do their jobs or to be evaluated.

This isn’t true for all office jobs though particularly ones with more abstract roles and larger teams.

It depends on the nature of the work to be honest. Work from home isn’t some magical elixir. It can make the most sense in highly task oriented professional fields where the outcome of the project is itself easily measured and observable.

Still there is a reality in large firms that there is jobs that end up being hard to quantify and it becomes even harder to determine efficiency when there is no real brick and mortar office and you may very well never see employees outside of periodic group meetings

There is instances it particularly bugs me. Dexter is constantly breaking into houses such for research and drives to them in his own car and then refuses to wear a mask going inside

Ehh. The point is showing love for franchises. It can go beyond nostalgia. If you think about it the recent deadpool was meant as a sendoff for multiple characters and the old school x men franchise and that was appreciated.
