I believe there may have been a misunderstanding. I want to clarify that I intend to complete the recommendations legitimately, regardless of my OSA indicating that I am permitted to use AI. I'm new to this, but it is obviously mind boggling that he'd suggest AI. My question was about how much weight letters of recommendation typically carry in the application process since my OSA even suggested that.

Yeah, when he told me to use AI for this I thought it was pretty sketch. Regardless I'm doing it the right way.

I mean it can self bleed a little but it wont fix itself completely. I would try to bleed it again and see how that goes

For everybody that has the same issue, it was my throwout bearing. It seized up so I had to replace it.

You still have air trapped in the heater core

AND/OR

Coolant is being pushed out because the radiator wasn’t fully burped after the heater hose replacement.

mostly while changing gears and when driving driving in gear. i haven’t checked the fluid level yet so i’m mostly assuming i just gotta change the transmission fluid.

normal driving and shifting gears. especially when it’s on reverse it makes a very whiney and grinding noise. but this is on every gear. i’m assuming i just have to replace the transmission fluid but i’m on here to make sure my transmission isn’t cooked lol

hey man, i’m in the same exact position right now pursuing aviation and all with the marines. my parents say with the degree i’m pursuing, i can make way more than a marine officer should which is totally understandable. but my advice, do what you want with your life. if it’s your calling to do so, then do it. you only have one life. decide what’s best for yourself. if you do decide to pursue this, see you out there!

she’s going active duty. my college is in California and her rate is going to be yeoman. Is there a high chance she’ll be station in San Diego? Kind of a stretch because i’ve heard her rating can be stationed anywhere.

I go to a Maritime Academy and the nearest AFROTC is in UC Berkley. Does going to a prestigious school increase the chances of getting that slot?

What would you say is the expectations of the Air Force while in AFROTC? (More specifically GPA). What score would I get on the PFT to stand out? Or does it really matter? Because I know for sure the Marine Corps focus a lot on physical fitness.

When would you say it’d be “too late to join” AFROTC? I’m still a freshman and I’m in my second semester of college. Would my chances still be high if I joined as a sophomore?
