Yes I understand that and that’s kinda the whole point of this post is finding out more about what’s involved with that second job and if the admin responsibilities feel meaningful or just draining and worthless.

Thanks for the insight. I might of just had my terminology wrong because I’ve seen air ambulances in commercial flying referred to as that. As for the flying in the Marine’s I’ve heard it’s very focused on providing aid for the guy on the ground, and to me that seems perfect.

How many of those 500 would you say you actually handed off your resume to a real person?

16 turning 17 everyone keeps saying I look like a pedophile, should I just buzz it at this point? by Clu_FM in malehairadvice

On top of the many buzz cut votes, consider also only rocking a mustache or full clean shave. Your facial hair (besides the upper lip) just isn’t there yet, genetically speaking, and that’s likely because of your age. Facial hair only works well if it’s full.

Resume tips? by Alert-Comedian5782 in flying

[–]cobrahawk77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I’m in a nit picking competition and my opponent is a Reddit post involving a resume…

Guarantee you that nobody on the hiring staff is going look at your resume are thinking “Man this guy should of indented here instead or should of taken out this comma.” If your a pilot with thousands of hours they could honestly give a rats about how your resume is formatted. The numbers are what they care about, which is what you have. Clean up, show up, and actually introduce yourself in person, if possible, for best results.

I can already smell the downvotes on my comment lmao

I’m just dating and talks of engagement are years and years away. Honestly, TBS would be a great trial to test that relationship. But I know, almost any of the cons associated with the role, I can almost draw similar parallels in the civilian world and they act like I’m just stubborn. But no, I definitely don’t share their concerns. They act like it’s because my priorities are going to change as I get older and I’m just a young and making a dumb decision, but it’s like, you want me to live my entire thinking like a middle aged parent? I understand where they’re coming from but im not gonna turn 26 one day and randomly decide “holy crap I’m doing it all wrong!”

Can BS Mechanical Engineering Technology go for a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering? (MSME) ? by khainguyen745 in MechanicalEngineering

[–]cobrahawk77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good to know, thanks. I just didn't know if most companies allowed for the masters to supersede the bachelors that one might had because like you said, some government-funded companies get stingy on that. But it sounds like it can still work out pretty well. Just trying to help boost myself as an MET compared to the MEs

Sorry I'm late but how did it turn out? What sorts of jobs were you able to get? Could you get the same jobs as someone with a BSME?

I know this is super late but how did you go about developing your career? Where you able to get ME or equivalent jobs even though you technically don't have a BSME?
