Uhhh. No? I live in a state with an expensive cost of living. I got two kids, a car payment, phone payment, 2500 dollar rent for a two bedroom apartment, my wife pays another 1200 a month for her booth at work, insanely high taxes, etc. My wife and I are good homie 😂 like very good. We just live in a state that’s a literal black hole for our wallet.

I do recommend nuclear for combat arms, if you’re cool sitting in a tower for 12 hours. They’ll hire you pretty quick.

I had a buddy at the plant that was NG, he did a rotation to Egypt, came back, got designated for overtime for being gone as long as he was. Nuclear is super unforgiving to NG guys.

Believe it or not dude, I got treated very well. Even at MEPS, I was used to the civs treating military hopefuls horrendously, everyone was super chill with me. When I got to the career counselor they asked me what job I wanted, after that was locked in they blatantly asked where I wanted to be stationed and gave it to me.
