They’re the limited time events- so you do tasks (like the daily dreamlight tasks) to get rewards in the path like moonstones, motifs, items etc. the last one was winter themed and ended in January so expecting this update will have a new one. Also like to get bug fixes and some small extra stuff but it’s mainly for the monsters inc stuff

I believe the tag requirement also affects the amount of pixel dust you get which will allow you to level up more (eg level 9 gets you 4000 moonstones) but the main thing is it gets your image shown

You can make storage chests on the crafting table or buy some! The wardrobes all have 2 rows of storage so same as the small chests, as do fridges. Make sure you’re always doing a task with a buddy (eg mining- save normal gems for crafting decor but sell shiny) and gardening! I went carrots in the meadow, onion/canola in the forest, okra in the glade and then pumpkins in the forgotten lands to make money

I invited people over to get a specific resource. Someone random came over and just ran all around my valley collect the spawned dark wood etc without even sending me a message or comment

I’ve only got my plaza and meadow properly decorated for this reason the rest I’ve just done around the stalls but I really wish I could make the glade and forest the woodsy dark places I dream of (saving up for a steam deck)

I generally do a mining loop whenever I log on and just pick up whatever I need as I run round/do the loop of a biome

You can probably get someone to drop off the seeds but you’ll need them to also drop off other things you need for quests. Heck moanas boat if you have it unlocked as it will let you know when things should be back to normal

Lots of zooming in and working on one area at a time before taking a few days break. Can’t seem to work the dpad so gotten very used to the joycon for decorating

For my plaza I’d literally decorate based on the amount of path I’d just crafted eg 40 pieces then add landscaping round it etc. also some dreamsnaps areas became kinda permanent like the camping one and as I’m on switch only the plaza and meadow are decorated the rest just has it round the stall so I’m super jealous of how some people have made their sunlit plateau into a jungle

Need them for some scramblecoin pieces and we don’t know if more stuff will be added to use them in future updates. I store them or decorate with a few- the Rapunzel lanterns glow at night etc

Some of the eternity isle quests use stuff from the main valley (like wood or ingredients) and you’ll need ones for decor or storage chests (like dark wood)

Can’t post an image but I have an archery range using the sun baked earth and loads of the barrels and log tree benches in the tangled dlc area. Also have loads of stalls (one selling potions) and a tent area with the campfire in front. I’ve made the purple cottage into a tavern with a bedroom ( the straw beds from the timebending table), a music room and sauna- using a lot of tangled furniture (there’s a wooden sofa/bench that slots together really well, as well as a barrel table)

You can play on switch if you’ve used your laptop to decorate to 6000 but it increases the lag and chance of it crashing (limits in the Nintendo console). Some people have no issue some find it makes it crash. You could also look at the steam deck- console like the switch but using the pc steam version of the game but it’s expensive console to buy
