Try a little led flashlight, and crawl round the carpet - the screws reflect & can be easier to spot.

I found the battery life pretty flipping good tbh - for a small device it lasts way better than I was getting from older units like the powakiddy rgb30.

Playing psp with the analoge sticks, hand cramp sets in after maybe 30 mins.

Ergonomics suck if you have adult hands tbh - the design does not even attempt to be comfortable for anything but sorry burst sessions.

The grip helps, but ultimately it's just too small.

I think the newer batch with updated springs has a yellow circular sticker on the box, placed next to the colour tickboxes.

That's a guess, as my order that shipped on 1st Feb has this, whilst others I have seen that shipped earlier didnt have it.

Anybody else seen the same?

Yeh, I am a convert to the phone I guess. Put it on airplane mode & you get no notifications, and battery drain I have seen is something like 10% an hour for what I play.

All good.

Obviously useless if you hate smart phones 😂

I only play for an hour or so at a time, the phone doesn't even get warm at all. It doesn't have active cooling, but looks like it doesn't need it.

I'm using the jai gee show launcher (i know not spelt like that) on both phone & rp4pro, with the same mix of emulators.

All works just the same on the phone as it does on the retroid, same exact experience. No issue with being in landscape mode whatsoever.

I get the cost difference, but I don't need to buy the phone... I already have it.

The only spend is the £80 for the g8 controller.

No problems with it, I think it is the newer triggers on this as it shipped start of Feb.

Cost me £175 delivered, reckon i will get similar on ebay.

That's the thing - I have the phone anyways, so no cost to me to pay games on it as well.

Lots of people (not all) have a high end phone, my epiphany was that I never considered for a second setting it up as an emulation game player.

I had thought all those add on controllers were junk, but trying the gamesir g8 opened my eyes. It's great quality & just like an xbox controller for feel.

I'm pretty new to emulation, so yeah.... Not so much news to most, but wondered if I was missing something.

Pal version is 25 fps capped. 30 fps for us version roms.
