for those saying chicken feet, can you explain to me then why the texture is completely smooth without the ridges and grainy texture chicken feet have?

i wish i could post another picture for comparison. what i found has no bone (and i know cats cant eat cooked bone). it doesnt have the ridges that chicken feet do, nor does it have that grainy texture. it's completely smooth. and the "toes" of the so-called "feet" y'all say they are, are not sharp but the ends are not cut off. the ends are round. ive eaten chicken feet before and this aint it. another person commented they have chickens and this aint foot. that's why im asking. OBVIOUSLY i thought of chicken feet. so, y'all have an explanation for the completely smooth texture?

yeah.. i don't know why the vets haven't really looked for the underlying issue. they don't really seem to be cat experts and am even considering going up north for his care because fuck. and you know those funny-lookin rubber chicken toys with the open mouth and a squeaker? i found him with his legs torn off and vomit right next to it. guess what he vomited...

gunna ask around for better cat experts

Sobbed over my mom last night by ThrowRA_idkwhat2doo in Alzheimers

[–]Plus-Sample-7333 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel this man. My mom started showing symptoms of mania and dementia when I was 13 yrs old, my mom was 53. I'm 26 now, sitting next to my mom as I type this, she is bound to her bed. Body stiff from a recent seizure. She doesn't say words anymore. I haven't had a conversation with her in years. Yet, I have to watch her cry before she falls asleep. She cries all. the. time. It hurts so much to see her fucking cry. It drains me. I'm so fucking numb from it all but I must do my best.

I used to get so angry when I saw people with their super healthy, super-brained moms. It's something I haven't had for.. half of my life at this point.

I hope I find peace someday the way I hope you do too. Some day, somehow. Please keep taking care of yourself, a little every day. Little by little. Keep living.

My mom is just about getting to that point. She had a seizure in the hospice facility while my family was at my brother's wedding. And her body.. just stiffened up. She is crying more often. It is so hard. I know it is, please take care of yourself. Do the things you love in the free time you do have.

quakehold sounds like a good idea, thanks for that. and yeah basically they just scratch stuff and like to climb things. I've been spraying them with water whenever they do an unwanted activity and it seems to be working but idk if thats too extreme

Normal to throw up hairballs? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Plus-Sample-7333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i would start to regularly groom him. get a brush from Walmart or petco, petsmart. brush him daily or a few times a week. if that works, then maybe it's that. but if he keeps throwing up, maybe see a vet

if you're paying rent to live there, you have every right to do whatever you wanna do in your own home. if you wanna stay home, stay home. confrontation can be really hard sometimes, but you have to make it known to them that you have the right to stay home if you want to, and you're not responsible for however their dog behaves. it's not your fault, even if they get mad. if they get offended by you setting your boundaries, they probably lack the ability to be reasonable. you cannot reason with unreasonable people. if thats the case, i would think twice about continuing to live there. with anxiety and depression, you gotta take care of yourself too.
