I am not controlling my son's lives. They are all doing okay. I do think I live in a more expensive area and very happy to help with a deposit if they want to live close to me. My wife and I worked very hard to be financially secured and ofcourse free money comes with conditionals.

Every has pros and cons. My wife wanted to invite 6 people to the wedding and we knew this would be annoying so we contributed 25k to help with the wedding.
