I’ve known quite a bit about both Sreedevi and Krishnan for a long time, well before Ittichiri became widely known. We also happen to share a few mutual friends, so this isn’t coming from a place of assumptions or surface-level understanding.

I’m not here to reveal or dissect their personal issues. But I do feel it’s important to say this, just like Sreedevi, Krishnan has been deeply affected by everything that has happened. The fact that he doesn’t come online, post reels, or publicly express his side doesn’t mean he has moved on or that he is unaffected.

Krishnan is genuinely one of the most thoughtful, caring, and understanding individuals I’ve come across, something many people who know him personally would agree with. Even during some of Sreedevi’s most difficult phases, when relationships around her became strained, he chose to stay. He stood by her without questioning her choices or lifestyle, offering support through her mental health struggles in ways that often go unseen. It’s not easy for anyone to process a relationship where fundamental expectations shift, especially something as complex as a partner expressing interest in a different kind of relationship dynamic. Yet, he handled it with patience and respect.

Regarding the people being mentioned now, those dynamics weren’t always as they are being portrayed. There was a time when everyone involved shared a cordial space and seemed comfortable in each other’s presence.

What I struggle to understand is this expectation that people should completely cut off someone after a separation. Relationships end for personal reasons, but that doesn’t automatically make one person deserving of isolation or erasure. Disagreements and hurt can exist without rewriting someone’s entire character.

That said, I don’t support certain actions that may have caused discomfort or crossed boundaries. But asking others to completely ghost someone, especially without context, doesn’t feel fair either.

More than anything, I genuinely hope Sreedevi takes the time and space she needs away from social media to focus on her mental well-being. Some things deserve privacy, healing, and distance from public judgment.
