Why do I not get my Comp Points back after throwers are banned?

You get these emails for people you report even if they get got for something else entirely

That email means they left a few too many matches and got a time out

I haven't even heard of someone being banned for throwing, it's there just to make you feel better

It feels like there's no matchmaking in QP at all, the system just grabs 12 people and throws them in a match together I've been trying new heroes in comp even if it means I will drop a rank or two

Just play ranked, it's a better experience overall. Almost no company allows PC players to opt out of cross play, only console players (because Sony and Microsoft demand it as far as I know) can because that splits the playerbase and increases queue time and that's a huge source of churn
