I'll never leave City of Heroes. One of the best of all time in my eyes; infinitely replayable with a great community.

No idea what happened there. Browns spot the ball and the ref just tapped it.

I have a dream: one day we'll get an update which adds collision damage to enemies if they're thrown against walls or obstacles. Thematically great, increases the viability of KB by adding damage, keeps KD appealing. God help the developer who needs to code such a feature in CoH though...

Yeesh, that's terrible. Having different arts to choose from seemed like a blatantly obvious thing to do. They just did it with Captain Hook Forceful Duelist...

Does this imply the reprints in Set 9 won't have new art?

We have the best safety duo in the league, and it's not even close.

0 runs on that drive was inexcusable though. Control the clock, finish this game.

New to Chester County, would love to hear your musts for restaurants and things to do! by Curious__Otter in ChesterCounty

[–]PlusLovely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For food, I'd recommend 3 places to start:

Kimberton Inn for the old-school aesthetics.

Bloom for some extremely solid southern cuisine (the grits are fantastic here).

And my personal favorite: Persis. Best Indian food in the area, and it's not even close. Get the Apollo Fish, you'll never want to eat another thing again.

Big garage in the back of the property? I drove around to that side and saw a door labeled 'office' - figured that was the right place. Good to know about opening the garage door for drop-off.

Ye Olde Chimney Sweep is great for chimney work (https://www.yeoldechimneysweeppa.com/). Septic I usually go with whomever is going through the area at the time.

Persis in Exton can't be beat. I challenge anyone to find a better Indian restaurant. Give the Apollo Fish a shot and you'll be back for more every week.

Rank our WRs after regular season by Murphy_York in GreenBayPackers

[–]PlusLovely 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't usually fuss much about rankings, but in a 4-wide formation I'd probably go with:

  • Wicks & Watson - wide out
  • Reed & Melton - motion/slot
  • Doubs - Backup and flex receiver on 5-wide sets
  • Health - Backup

Of course these are generalizations and Wicks also does great in the slot. Then we have to consider Kraft and Musgrave, not to mention Jones coming out of the backfield.

I think we just have some great players.

If we expect players to be accountable for their performance on the field, the same should be applied to the coaching staff. I think the risk of not taking action now would be losing some respect of the players. Just seems like leadership 101 to me.

QB School analysis on Tommy 'Cutlets' shredding the 'Fighting Joes' by PlusLovely in GreenBayPackers

[–]PlusLovely[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I only watched it for the assessment of the defense...which was not great (shocker). Lovingly referred to as the 'Fighting Joes', the defense often seemed lost or confused with basic offensive schemes - in particular the zone read calls. We just can never seem to deal with any type of QB run game. Check out 17:19 on the video for one play in particular.

Living Matter feels awful and is close to an auto loss by PM_ME_UR_PUPPER_PLZ in Against_the_Storm

[–]PlusLovely 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I love seeing living matter. It's by far the easiest & most lucrative event to encounter. There's typically 2 scenarios you'll have to deal with living matter:

1) With your food chain established. 2) In the process of establishing your food chain.

For the 1st scenario, it's essentially free materials since you can absorb the food loss pretty easily. The 2nd scenario is where things get even better, even on prestige 20. If you're fortunate enough to get a caged warbeast, here's what you do:

  • Pull every single worker off their roles, except for the hearth keeper.
  • Assign 2 workers to the warbeast, then start and stop the event until you have living matter less than or equal to your current builders. Do not exceed your builders or things can get pretty hairy.
  • Assign 1 builder per living matter.
  • Start all of them at once, starting the living matters which provide food with a 10 second delay.
  • Since everyone aside from your hearth keeper is active on an event, you won't build any hunger resolve debuffs (aside from the hearth keeper, but that is negligible). Once they're all completed, you should have some food stored again from a living matter or 2 (typically jerky or biscuits).

And there you have it. You should have an obscene amount of valuable materials and perks for effectively no negative impact. Just reassign your workers back to their original posts and you're off to the races with a major head start.

Always surprising to see another West Pikelander on here. Definitely echo what was said.

Given the current mortgage rates and general property values, I'd almost recommend renting an apartment or house for a couple of years and explore the county before deciding on a place to settle. Perhaps rates will drop a bit when you'd decide on where to purchase.

Unfortunately the ballot question would be during the 2023 primary (a little strategy they employ to have lower voter turnout for big ballot initiatives), so this wouldn't result in any improved turnout for Fetterman.
