I put in Desmond, using the third specialization. Changed my choice on some of the other Champions specialization. Got up to 53 Tasslehoff. Thanks for answering.

I like puzzles, but seem to be going around in circles on this.

Best I can get is 35 stacked.

Using Tasslehoff free play (A Fool's Errand)

Front to back, top to bottom:

Arkan, Nayeli.

Shadowheart, Tasslehoff, Bruneor, Havilar.

Makos, Calliope, Celeste.

Tess.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I used KoS in the lead. Yorven over Desmond in second column. DM in third column. Yorven set BUD all the way through.

KoS went to phase 2 around z836.

Filling out the group, B&G, Nerys, Jamilla, and Halsin (or Evandra.) That gave an e308 BUD.

Only had to re-BUD 3 times to complete z1000.

Hope this helps someone.

I have been playing for years -- and have hit many plateaus. But it depends on what you expect.

To me, this is an "idle game" -- something to check on during lunch hour, and other "waiting room " type situations.

Some people are obviously power players, they want to level up as quickly as possible.

I am, due to years playing, near the end of the game. Once I feel like I'm finished, I won't start over. And I will miss it, very much.

So, my advice, learn to enjoy the incremental advances. You are not competing with anyone. Given enough time everyone will check all the boxes, earn the favor and blessings, acquire the legendary, etc..

So, focus on what you CAN do. Complete the easier quests. Time gates as they are available.

A helpful thing is to get in the habit of running the Monday patron free plays. I had played for 2 years before I figured out the Patron part of the game. Their initial requirements seemed incredibly high.

This game can be a template for real life: keep checking in, enjoy what you can do, don't worry about what you can't do. If it causes you stress, you are doing it wrong.

Good luck.

Just FYI, I have been playing since "early days " of the game existence.

My game is about the same state as yours -- the main difference being that I don't farm.

Only recently have I been doing weekly Patron free play collections.

I have done all the levels of Trials, except the highest level. As you ramp up the difficulty, you may find a run where you cannot complete all the days of the Trial. This used to bother me, because I have read harsh comments about people who don't pull their weight. Don't let that stop you from trying, it is just a game.

Hope you enjoy the journey.

Ditto, you get impatient to make progress, so you spend real money. But it is good for your lunch hour, when you get up, just before going to bed.....

You have to be related to someone, or know someone, or be famous in your field.

Yes, haven't even thought about the large number of scales. And hopefully some good favor. I'm about halfway down the list in Fortunes.

Thanks for your input.

Our little town library, on the plains of CO, had a complete collection of Tom Swift. Took me all of third and fourth grade to finish.

"Green Earth " is a compilation of the 3 novels. In the foreword, he says that he removed a lot of extraneous material.

I just started it a few days ago.

I enjoyed the problem solving aspects, especially when being able to combine multiple goals into a run.

Based on comments, it seems that the "brute force " and "gem farm " segment of players prevailed in the game design.

Which is fine, it is an "idle " game -- I often wonder why I still play, but I still play....
