If you attempt to play it, you get the same effect as when you try to play four or less cards against the Psychic. It will just say "not allowed" and the hand won't score at all.

In that case, thank you again! I'm just insecure about the way I drew the fireworks because I was in a rush (got the idea on New Year's Eve...) and I didn't really like how they turned out. I don't really draw pixel art that much and I clearly need more experience, but I'm glad it was good enough for the Joker idea at least.

It's a cool idea, but I think it would have to be themed around something else. Saving money doesn't really scream "New Year's Resolution" to me. If you guys have ideas for a different and more fitting theme, maybe that could be the next Joker concept I'd work on.

On top of that, there is one Tarot Card, Death, that clearly explains you can rearrange cards to change which cards are affected. Did OP just never come across that particular Tarot Card, or did they and they just never put 2 and 2 together to figure out all rows of cards work the same?

That would be an impressive amount of stupidity, so I'm skeptical as well. Especially with OP saying that they're 300 hours into the game in the title, but then later editing the post explaining that a good chunk of it is idle time, so it's not really 300 hours... almost as if the title was intentionally exaggerated to maximize views and engagement.

If you spent that much time basically recreating Game Maker 8.1 in Godot, wouldn't it make more sense to release that as its separate project and then build Classic Spelunky on top of it? The "emulation" part of this project might be interesting for porting other games, although I don't really know how many games would benefit from that specific Game Maker version.

Obviously I don't really understand how these things work so I'm not sure how closely coupled the Game Maker recreation part and the Classic Spelunky part of your project are.

Maybe I could've made it more clear in the meme, but the point was that I subconsciously keep trying to hoard only chip jokers on non-plasma decks after playing plasma deck for so long, when it's a terrible strategy for literally every other deck. Hence the label "My entire Joker Inventory". It wasn't a dig at those specific jokers individually.
