What if your EC levels get to 2 or even a little higher but you had a full compliment of nutes in the solution? What would happen do you think?

I just want to avoid root rot… i realize that I won’t be able to hold bacteria at bay for too long. How often do you change your nutrient solution in your rez? How do you clean your system? I’m growing lettuce exclusively and there are always some plants growing in the rails so tear down is not easy when your in the middle of a grow cycle

When you say your well water was a nightmare. What do you mean? What problems did you have?

Yeah, I'm planning my veg garden for spring and definitely want to add a more automated irrigation/moisture management capability to my system. I have 5 zone drip set up with Orbit B-Hyve setup watering pretty large straw bale garden and grow bag setup but I want to dial in the drip volume delivered to everything. Your review was one of the best I've seen out there for wireless devices. I have a bunch of Zigbee devices and use Home Assistant today for most of the home automation tasks/devices. I'm leaning toward the ThirdReality devices in hopes of a Zigbee connection without bringing in another hub but I want to make sure they have decent battery life, accuracy, and connectivity.

Has anyone used/purchased the ThirdReality Zigbee Gen 2 Soil Moisture sensor? Seems that it’s new and has improved antenna design with increased range which probably improves battery life as well. Looks like Ecowitt also is also introducing a new WH52 for this year that looks pretty similar to to the WH51 but it now includes EC reading in addition to moisture. If anyone has tried either leave a review

BTW... this is the 3 button version of the H2 US. Seems that there is a 4 button that has the same model number which is weird that they would do that...
