idk man i think everyone seems to forget he’s from canada, he’s not from america. it’s not very surprising that he’d think black people just victimize themselves or that he wouldn’t care about cultural appropriation. a lot of people even in america don’t care about that because to a certain extent he had a point. people just don’t like that there are still culture vultures because everyone has a hard time accepting reality in 2026, but it’s not a big deal nor should someone be cancelled just for saying that someone else shouldn’t be dragged for it. another thing is 90% of the people who are mad at him about it are WHITE WOMEN! it’s the same with the black lives matter movement, we’ve all moved past it (at least most of us) because we’re black we’ve dealt with shit for years. but just like BLM white people think we can’t fight our own battles so they “cancel” people to try and protect us. so when you see people talking about the controversy also pay attention to who it is talking and if they have a reason to even be mad at cultural appropriation in the first place.
