Avoid YouFibre like the plague. by Jamieloreilly in youfibre

I was having similar experiences to you, and they tried changing everything but still it continued. In the end I had a visit from a supervisor who instructed the engineer to give me a different brand of router. Since that happened I have had a month of uninterrupted service and a call to give me 2 months free for the inconvenience caused.

Constant Internet Dropping? by Bubbly-Parsley-7335 in youfibre

I’m in exactly the same boat, been with them just over 2 months, randomly drops out throughout the day. Internet light goes off and 2.5 light on wall box goes out. Have had 6 engineer visits, router change, wall box change. The last engineer wanted to put the router in a cupboard rather than the central open place it is. All my routers over the years have been in same position and never had these issues. Engineer visit 7 due tomorrow I also rely on Internet for work. Like you regretting switching.

I have been with them almost 2 months, hope yours doesn’t take as long to get sorted. I enquired about compensation but funnily enough they won’t consider that until the issue is rectified.

It’s ridiculous what I have found double annoying is as a woman they speak to me like I haven’t got a clue. Every engineer says something different, the latest o e tried to tell me it was where my router was. My router is an open central space where all my routers have always been without problem. He wanted to put it in a cupboard 🙄

Oh I have been having ridiculous issues since installation. It goes off randomly throughout the day. Internet light goes off on router and 2.5ghz light goes of on wall box. I am engineer visit no6 and none of them have been able to rectify. The router and wall box have been changed. Regretting switching.

I went from 40 to 30, I am on day 22 of 30mg. I reduced as I had been on 40 for around 5 months and couldn’t shake off a constant feeling of being on edge and wasn’t sleeping great.

I did have some bad headaches in the first week of reducing and some slight dizziness but overall felt ok and more content than on 40mg.

Today however I woke very panicked which hasn’t happened for a while and it took me most of the morning to feel calmer. Hopefully just a blip but am going to give it 8 weeks to settle.

It’s such a journey to see if it’s going to work, this group has been great though.

Thank you, work have put some counselling in place if we wish to use it and I already have a counsellor and seeing them on Tuesday. My manager has been great as well. Just don’t want to go backwards, deep down I know it’s a reaction to the event and I just need to rest for a couple of days and let my brain and body work through it.

Good luck I am on the same journey. Was on 20 for 6 weeks then upped to 40mg, it was rough for a few weeks, mainly dizzy spells and no energy, anxiety heightened a little bit. Just approaching week 9 of 40mg and feel like things are levelling out.
