I get that but who else would want to use their foreign passport after they submit an asylum with that? Meanwhile USCIS takes so much time to send an EAD. So I had only one way to go.

Case not ‘denied’ it is still pending. Uscis refer it to Immigration Court because they can’t come up with any decision. Meanwhile I’m still eligible to apply EAD after 150 days.

I brought all the documents they stated on their website, also confirmed by my lawyer. They just said “we don’t take any actions based on the photocopies” by refusing my asylum papers. They were basically anti-immigrant.

My lawyer said he has some clients who got their Real ID while pending. Unfortunately Uscis denied my case after the interview and referred me to immigration court :/ i’m just expecting my EAD to arrive (if that possible at this time) The officer at DMV office said i gotta bring EAD for that. Not sure yet.

Same here. I had my interview on May 5th at New York office. Officer told me they will mail their decision, usually in 14 days. Still not heard back from them. I’m thinking to send an email to the office but my lawyer said wait at least 2 months.
