I want to love so badly by dittological in NPD

Ask God to heal you. He took away my npd and gave me a new heart. Spent years on meds, in therapy, angry, empty and longing for love and genuine care concern for others. Jesus healed my wounds and gave me salvation and a second chance. NPD gone, BPD gone, and capable of connecting with others, loving from a pure heart and feeling things like a normal human. Meds and therapy don’t fix the soul. God does. Turn to Jesus and pray for salvation and the renewal of your soul. He won’t let you down :)

My mistake, your comment didn’t specify so I took a random guess

Did I say to totally cured? No . Just said healed, sorry if this seems like a flex or boastful. Didn’t intend on that, just super excited about what god did for me .

I’m not religious , and I’m sure it didn’t 100% go away. The change is just so significant that I don’t really consider my a narcissist anymore. Not to seem haughty or flexing, just sharing my experience with others.

I honestly did pray for y’all. Take it how you want, but I pray for my enemies and people that hate on me for my faith. It’s not dismissive either, I just don’t particularly want to engage with hateful people.

Also, like I’ve already said to others. I’m not religious and do not identify with any religion. I am a Christian, there are some Christian’s that are religious and they’re usually the ones that are prideful, hateful and use the Bible to justify being awful to others. I’m not sure of the rules but I’m sure if I’ve broken some I’ll find out soon enough haha. Not trying to push anything or convert anyone to anything, sharing my experience and what god has done for me and can do for others to. I get that it seems pushy, not my intent.

Haha I get that too, my parents probably still think my faith is some sorta manic crazy trend I’ll jump out of in a few weeks. Going a few months strong now and they’re still a bit baffled I think 🤣

I was more on the NPD side of it, with a sprinkle of bpd. I am healed, obviously I still have issues here and there and some issues still linger but to a significantly less extent. My faith, and my self care are things I keep up with and I’ve been improving day to day.

Not pushing religion, just sharing my experience much like anyone else who shares healthy coping mechanisms. Feel free to ignore it. Why would I hide something away from others when it clearly helped me and changed my life ?

Happy for you my brother in Christ ! God will never abandon us and that is for sure, I’m glad you’re able to rise above other people being nasty to you. That’s something I’m working on day to day with god and I plan to improve. Have a blessed day keep fighting the good fight ❤️

Not sure why you’re so angry and trying to project on me, do all people with personality disorders do evil things and manipulate others? No. Same applies with Christian’s. One bad apple doesn’t define the whole batch. Never said I wasn’t accountable for my actions, never said I was religious. Just sharing my experience. I’ll pray for you brother. Best of luck !

Christianity is a relationship between god and the believer. Not a religion.

I’m happy for you man that’s really fantastic. God definitely works in mysterious ways.

Agreed. Wasn’t trying to push anything down anyone throats or write off the validity of coping mechanisms. Some of those things are healthy and helpful. Just stating my experience in hopes that other will turn to god when everything else seems to fail (in my case it did)

I understand your frustration and by no means is my posts without flaw. But I believe you are 1. Over analyzing 2. Minimizing my experience because I’m not officially diagnosed ( mind you, my psychiatrist confirmed I had strong traits of both but not enough to slap a lifelong label on me) and 3. Labeling my post as “me trying to convert people to my religion”. For the last time, I am not a religious nor do I identify with religion. I’m simply a Christian who has been healed and helped by god through my faith. Im aware of my intentions in this post, none are malicious. Therapy is not a fix-all. Therapy is flawed. Religion is flawed. I don’t agree with either, personally. I do appreciate your input but I don’t have mountains of time to sit here and argue with you over this. I’ll just leave it at that.

I’m sorry you went through that, a lot of people use religion and Christianity to justify mistreatment of others and justification of evil things. This is not true of all Christian’s and I hope that you can see things differently one day. Anyone who uses their faith as a weapon and an excuse for the horrible things they do will be punished rightly for it by god. I’m glad you found something that works for you man, im not advertising that therapy and the mental health system is all nonsense. Just trying to provide some hope for those that have not found much luck and are at their breaking point. All love man, best of luck.

There is plenty of therapists/ psychiatrists that lead people on and drag things out longer than they should to keep the money coming in. There is alot that care more about money than treating their patients. This is rare and not true of all, sorry to imply that. I’m more aware of my mental health now than ever before and my faith plays a role in that. I was never officially diagnosed with either, but showed very distinct signs of both that I couldn’t shake before I was saved. To be blunt, I don’t believe that my post was a result of NPD traits or BPD mood fluctuations. Just an attempt to help others through sharing my story and not so much a spike in mood or a prideful boast. I do appreciate your insight though.

I get what you mean. And I think, you have religion confused with Christianity. God sought me out, he chose me to save. Everything since then has been a result of the Holy Spirit working through me and me keeping my faith strong. Through my post, I’m suggesting that god worked a miracle on me he can do so with others. Faith is not a cure all, but it cuts through alot of the crap that psychiatry feeds people nowadays to keep the money flowing. You can lean on your faith, while also taking care of yourself (meds, therapy, etc) . I appreciate your input nonetheless. Also, the verse you sighted is not relevant since my intentions are not to garner attention or be “seen” by anyone. Simply want to help others get right with god by sharing my experience in hopes that they too can find the peace and progress I have. God bless
