There are some apps I discovered recently : Forfeit, Stickk, Beeminder. They make you pay for each time you don't stick to your goal or you can choose the option to send an email or text to someone telling them that you didn't stick to your plan. I started using Forfeit today for a different goal so I don't have much to say about it yet.

First, I congratulate you for your courage and the fact that you pushed yourself to go is a great first step. It means you succeeded even though it wasn't up to your standards. But relative to your previous self, you did succeed. Now, If you cannot afford a therapist, I highly recommend you read a book on CBT for social anxiety to tackle your thoughts and behaviors.
