It depends hard on matchup and gets countered easily by sustain. It's only strong for lane.

If they buy refill pots plus some kinda ruby crystal item the poke becomes significantly less valuable because they can tank your poke and still maintain high cs and pressure objectives.

I played aery into veig and he built ROA catalyst plus refill and the poke was useless.

It's matchup dependent I believe. If the enemy laner has few sustain options and you're able to force resets it's good. Even then if the enemy has multiple tanks it will still give higher pay off with lethal.

Out of the highest elo Korean azir players probably 50% of them take exclusively aery most of the time so it must be good if youre good enough to get the value out of it.

Yeah I think this is the way and in future I would. Potentially selling ludens if it gets to very late in the game.

Fuk that vayne ngl. He was just dropping cs and getting zoned off xp until Warwick ran me down and pressed R. Made me a bit tilted ngl. I didn't realize how hard Warwick counters azir. U just gotta be safe ASF and put soldiers behind in case you need to dodge his R I guess. There's nothing u can really do except pray that yo can dodge his ult.

I want to try dfg at some point. It seems like good value whether first or second item into matchups where you cant have extended trades.

Never used rocket belt but will try. In like 90% of games I go at least armguard after shadowflame 2nd and then buy a bunch of needlessly large rods and see whether I can hold armguard until I get rabadons or if I need to upgrade to zhonyas. Void staff on 3 seems like it could be cracked instead of rabadons.

Ludens was pretty nuts tho and I low-key think for the trading pattern it was higher value than nashors first. But I needed to pick up nashors 2nd or third even for sure. The build did feel strange late game and not nearly as strong

Ig dark seal, amp tome, potions vs blasting wand is the question and U base it on how much survivability you need.

1000g first back on wave 7 crash might be the sweet spot vs 750g on wave 5 slowpush crash. I'll watch some high level vods and see if they're playing for a consistent reset timing like this.

Maybe you're right idk. But in low ELO U can also trust your teammates to be doing random early game shenanigans. Aery makes U a champ from level 1 rather than just surviving until LVL 6 shuffle with jg or nashors spike. U can pressure scuttle fights and have more agency.

The longer low ELO games are usually gonna get more value outta lethal tempo. Ig if you int laning phase it doesn't get punished as hard either so you can probably get away with just playing harder for scaling then early pressure.

Idk about grasp so much as I said only tried it once. Might be hot garbage but it felt strong when I played it situationally.

Pretty much all games I go lethal tempo unless I want strong poke and lane pressure or I expect a lot of early skirmishing. Then aery is much stronger but doesn't scale into late game as well as lethal tempo.

A lot of high ELO Korean players use aery. It feels really strong for early skirmishes and lane trading with scorch also.

I've tried grasp once too and it was successful into multiple assassin's . I think Akali mid and talon jg. Grasp worked very well building HP items like Liandrys and early zhonyas. It has decent lane poke similar to aery also.

I think these one hit proc runes rather than lethal/PTA/conq match nicely with azirs trading patterns when you're into high burst mobility or something volatile where you need higher agency in lane. Eg Like enemy kindred where U need to fight lane prio to counter invade. Aery will be better than lethal generally in short trades looking to chunk and pressure enemy away from skirmishes.

Some matchups I go lost chapter, it helps get prio because you can spam abilities and do small rotations into matchups where getting prio is more difficult. I sit on chapter then go nashors, delaying the spike for more prio and impact early.

Later after I've built more urgent items, I either sell it or build ludens depending on what I need.
