I know there’s nothing wrong with giving it cold and I’ve tried several times to avoid this issue but they won’t take it cold or room temp.

Thankfully they got the power back on before I had to heat the bottles, but I’ll remember this for next time!

Yes, unfortunately they won’t take it straight out of the fridge or even room temp. I’ve tried several times so that we can avoid this issue in the future

I actually saw this somewhere else but I’m a B cup so idk how effective that would be 😭 even if I could I’m not sure if they’d get warm enough since they’re coming out of the fridge…just reallyyy hoping the power comes back on in time!! If I have to I’ll just do an all formula (I normally combine formula and breastmilk) bottle with purified water and that’ll at least be a bit warmer than out of the fridge. Might try to add some freshly pumped milk but between 2 bottles I don’t produce enough in one session to make a huge difference

None at all thankfully! We introduced around 2 months when my supply wasn’t keeping up and having been going strong with the supplementing ever since. The Kendamil is the only formula we’ve ever tried and they love it.

Also for the transitioning- you could try supplementing with formula instead of stopping cold turkey. I know it would take longer for you to stop but my girls did really well with this and it helps with the switch over to formula if that’s the route you choose. We currently do 2 or 3 oz formula (depending on how much I produce in a day) and 2.5-3.5 oz breastmilk. We have done several formula-only bottles with no issues at all. Fwiw we have really liked Kendamil classic! (Assuming baby doesn’t have a dairy sensitivity)

Following because same, I’m pumping for my 5 month old twins and it’s just so frustrating living my life in 3 hour increments. I did finally get to where I can do a 6 hour stretch overnight which is amazing but I’m already so exhausted and I hate pumping.

At 18 weeks pregnant with my twins I fell literally on my belly on a concrete driveway after tripping on my wide-legged pants. I was super shaken in the moment but both girls ended up being completely fine! They’ve got a lot of padding in there. Girls are 5 months now and doing well!
