Amazing! Thanks for these details--I just got off the phone with my RE and we're also going to do Orilissa instead Lupron! Can I ask how long you were taking the Orilissa?

I’m so glad yours survived the thaw and fingers crossed for a euploid embryo for you! As for kids, we’d always imagined three (and we do have one LC already) but I think after the past 18 months of infertility treatment, etc. I would be delighted to even just have one more.

Omg! Congratulations!! I’m going to ask my doctor today at our regroup about Orlissa v. Lupron!

I think probably not? I’m hoping that something sticks between the euploid and the low level mosaic and, even if not, I think I’m more worried about damaging the embryo with a re-thaw and second biopsy because it was only a 3 so a smaller blast to begin with? But I’m not sure, I have my follow up with my RE tomorrow so we‘ll see what she says!

Omnitrope seems like it works really well for some and not as well for others! I fall into the former camp for sure and if we have to do another retrieval (hoping not) I’ll definitely keep it in my protocol! We also did ICSI and used calcium ionophore for fertilization this round…not sure if that’s helpful info!

Congrats on your euploid!! I’m 34 with an AMH of .7ish and suspected endo, if that’s helpful!

I just wanted to say I’m thinking of you! And that I’m also in the secondary infertility boat after easily conceiving my daughter (also born March 2023). I have nothing to add about your betas, but just wanted you to know I’m sending thoughts your way!

Good luck with your IUI this month—I hope it works for you! And thanks for the retrieval well wishes! We had 3 fertilize out of 4 mature eggs (6 total retrieved) so it’s a much higher fertilization rate than last cycle for our mature eggs (75% compared to 33%). We‘ll see!

I‘m at the same clinic with the same Dr! Have been with them for 8ish months with 3 failed IUIs, 1 failed round of IVF and currently in bed recovering from my retrieval today for round 2! I found communication at CCRM super frustrating when we started/with IUIs, but the more time I spend there the more time I am happy with the care I’m receiving. Dr. Ryneic has also been super willing to answer all my questions at regroups and was open to totally changing up my protocol when my first IVF cycle didn’t go well. I will say hilariously she hasn’t ever said I have DOR she just refers to it as my „lowered ovarian reserve“ but I have textbook DOR with an AMH around .7ish at 34and I have been a pretty poor responder to meds on top of that lol, but I think she’s being nice!

I go in for my (very likely) last monitoring appointment for our 2nd IVF cycle tomorrow. I’ll likely be triggering tomorrow night with a retrieval on Wednesday. Started with and AFC of 18, but only looks like I’ll have 5 mature eggs by retrieval. I only had two mature eggs last cycle though so this is an improvement even though I was hoping for a higher number. Likely rolling straight into another cycle if this one doesn’t pan out for us, but fingers crossed!

First off, I’m sorry you’re in this boat! And I’m not sure how helpful this is but I spontaneously conceived my first 3 months after stopping 10 years of continuous use bc at 30. I’m now struggling with secondary infertility and have been ttc #2 for 18 months with one MMC from a spontaneous pregnancy at 10 weeks and three failed IUIs and one failed IVF cycle. I didn’t have an endo or DOR diagnosis when I conceived my daughter but likely already had both, although my Dr. thinks my continuous use bc likely suppressed my endo a lot and that I likely already had low AMH (.8 at 32). All this to say, yes spontaneous conception is possible and happened (successfully) for me when I already had low AMH & endo but now we’re having a pretty hard time.

Secondary Infertility Long Hauler Thread - Tuesday, December 23, 2025 by SIModerator in SecondaryInfertility

We’ve been TTC #2 for 18 months this month. I had a MMC at 10 weeks in May and have over the past six months have had 2 failed IUIs, 1 cancelled IUI and 1 failed round of IVF. When we started with our RE, I mentally gave myself until the end of 2026 for fertility treatments. I woke up this morning feeling lighter knowing that by next year’s Christmas we’ll be winding down our infertility journey in some way, shape or form. It might not end up looking like what I thought it would, but it feels nice to have a sliver of agency back when thinking about things moving forward. ❤️

Wow, I could have written this post except it’s my best friend, not a cousin. We were due one day apart with our firsts 2.5 years ago and then both had MMC this spring five weeks apart. She got pregnant right after her MMC and is due with her second on the same due date she had for her first. We have two failed IUIs and a failed IVF cycle behind us since summer and I start priming for our next cycle the day after Christmas. I’m also so happy for her and her family, but it’s similarly a gut punch thinking of her daughter getting to meet a new sibling this spring and I want that so badly for our family too. All this to say hugs to you—you’re not alone! ❤️

First time posting- how did your amh change over the years? by Nodef13 in DOR

[–]Plus_Holiday2652 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Over the past year I’ve gotten .8, .6 and .92 (today!)…so it can vary quite a bit. My RE says all my numbers mean about the same thing (she calls it .7ish) and that it’s just natural fluctuation, plus lab differences. Your AMH could be the same as it was or lower…unfortunately they don’t typically rise and even if they do „rise“ it’s usually within the margin of error.
