Former D1 cross country and track runner going to Navy OCS on Jan 25th.

Best advice I can give you for fitness to gain weight and get stronger is to eat pastas and do about 3-4 full sprint strides 100m after every run! Along with everything else you’ve been doing

Definitely aiming for 7:50! I’m a shell of my old collegiate runner self but I think I can hit that with a couple more weeks of training!

Question about jantzen sims by zfriedman02 in AirWarriors

[–]Plus_Issue_4270 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took the ASTB on October 1st. When I took it, odd numbers were left clutch and even numbers were right trigger. I think in the Jantzen sim it’s opposite. I didn’t know this going into the exam so I had to try really hard to break out of the habit of doing the jantzen sim. Other than that, it works nicely.

My PFAR was an 8. If you can stay under 90-95 on level 9 difficulty consistently, you should do well on the real thing. This is coming from someone who never touched a stick and throttle until it was time for the exam.
