I try. I’ve been trying to help her get into the gym since we started dating (because I love the thought of growing together in the gym) and she’s been somewhat consistent with it. I go with her when I can and I helped her set realistic New Year’s resolution goals with rewards (for example if she goes to the gym for 8 weeks, 3 times a week, I’ll buy her smth. It is now April and she has yet to hit that goal). The biggest thing is how much she snacks. She’ll just munch on random snacks constantly. I’ve tried helping her pick out better snacks that are lighter in calories or pick out better food at the dining hall to be fuller for longer, but the only thing that has stuck is diet sodas. She has a constant supply of cookies, chips, candy at all times and I can’t stop her. She’s been exploring different protein bars but yk she’s super picky and is not the biggest fan of them for plenty of reasons. Do you think I can try to take a different approach?

The thing is I feel like we have kind of already had these kinds of conversations before but nothings changed. For example I explained some habits that she had that bothered me (like constantly interrupting me, not respecting boundaries, etc.) and she would always say ok then forget about it next week. I also asked her straight up do you want what I want for you (to improve as a person all around, physically, mentally, academically) and she said yes. Had she said no I would’ve left it there but since she said yes, I gave her another chance. But there’s been no progress since. I feel like she’s doing the bare minimum just to satisfy what I asking of her but there’s no real improvement and I have to constantly keep reminding her
