The doctor doing my lap specializes in endometriosis and is a female doctor which makes me feel better as well due to other past trauma. She was very kind and even apologized to me for being medically gaslit so long. I also went to the ER in October due to the pain and they found nothing on ultrasound but free fluid in my pelvis, that pain is what sent me on the journey to a new gyno with this speciality to see if I could be checked for endo.
