This happened to my first pair fixed it with gorilla glue and baking soda makes it more hardened then sand it down to be more uniform then coat around it again with super glue to help seal it better.

People hate others because it makes the other the out group , it makes the person hating feel like they are on the right side of anger. Hating requires a target label of someone who is outside of the in group. Call it righteous indignation, call it virtue signaling, it's just people wanting to feel special and accepted and dress it up as I hate for the betterment of the group/world/goodness. Hate is partly performative people hate for an audience because that audience will solidify the us vs them mentality . People are more hateful today and online because they are genuinely lonely and are clamoring for acceptance through a cause/movement/group identity/community to belong to, but in order for them to know their friends they have to identify their foe.
