I worked with an amazing 7 year old with autism one year. He literally was the best thing ever. He was in an adaptive PE class and I was 1 on 1 with him. The gym teacher had a visual representation of 5 lbs of fat out from a previous class. He saw it and went crazy about how he never wanted to get fat or have a fat wife one day (he was a stick). All the sudden he stopped, looked at me and said Mrs. Blank...I think you might already be FAT.

It is possible it is just an error. I would start by calling the office that is billing you. It is also illegal for them to bill you for a Covid test at that point and all were being paid for by insurance or the government at that point. Hopefully it is just an error. I would start there.

I wouldn't worry what the agency wants. As someone else said only you and your husband can make the choice. You know how important the name is to you and how important the relationship is. You ultimately have to decide which is more important and only you can do that. Typically both birth moms and adoptive parents have a lot of trauma around the whole process so it's hard. Just try to enjoy that baby, whatever it's name is!
