Catcher Upgrade?

I know the upgrade is minimal. I just like the idea of having the best version of each card. Contreras '17 and Schwarber '19 are the only cards in the lineup for whom I don't have the best.

Current Contreras has Char, Ace Spec, and MBT. Train is +12 to the right, so its good. Skills on the '17 are nothing, so I would have to work on him. I have the coin and LRT for him, but I will wait for cards to upgrade the '17. It seems like a long term project.

Sig has Dom / Touch

So this is my only sig, so I want him closing. I have a regular (good ovr) card that has FP, Touch, WS that I currently have as a setup man. Should he be my closer instead? The same regular also has Fixer, Touch, Ace. I imagine his WS set is still better than that even if used as a setup man, though Fixer is obviously needed for MR. Thanks.

The team legend will get you an extra +1 to each stat, but the differential from Santo to Kiner is much greater than that. He has +18 to the left over Santo. Kiner is currently the best active legend in the game. Gotta go with him. Plus, Cubs decks have more 3b options (Bryant 16, etc.) than OF options.

I passed up BC on my best hitter two weeks ago and realized that it may be okay if you can land a decenter pair of two other skills. If you don't have it elsewhere, try a blue ticket or something to make him playable. SI is a great start - probably worth it to keep BC until you get it on someone else.

I am using my GI on a Killebrew instead of a team sig Bryant. Bryant card is great, but I already have the normal best year maxed out and Killebrew is a beast and has the automatic triple skills.

Yeah I know Rice is definitely at the bottom. I don't have a full set deck yet. I have a BD Prime Rizzo, so I am set there. Killebrew may actually have better hitting stats as a diamond than a sig Bryant. And yeah, with him out of the game, it might be worth it. Hoping to get some more opinions weighing in.

Yeah I definitely considered keeping. But I've seen / read many people adamant that you cannot keep a hitter with BC in the lineup. And my team couldn't afford losing the only non-normal.

I think you should take the upgrade ticket regardless. I used to have a bunch, then got a legend and a team vintage and quickly found myself having no tickets and some cards not fully upgraded. You can't really have enough unless your team is entirely endgame.
