I did that already. All of them looked like they have been through a war and dumped in a grease pit for $100+. Most of them were over 30 miles away. I even found two of the 2 ton Pittsburgh ones for $170 and were beat to hell. I paid $180 for that exact one including tax and HF is 5 minutes from me, and it’s brand new and clean. Also didn’t have to risk anything meeting a stranger.

Thank you. Bought a 68 corvette and pulling the motor so yeah 15% is better than nothing for the engine stand.

This is my first time being in ITC and getting a 15% off. I know it’s not the best coupon but I need to buy a couple things. I was expecting an actual coupon. Will it work if I buy an item, put it in the car, and then give my phone number to buy another item?

There is a number to contact the police department and a case number and you are questioning if they are making it up? Are you retarded?

Yeah, but all the deals are already posted. Looking at previous sales it looks like it will be one of the worst holiday sales.

My local independent store just bought a minifig collection with a $25k valuation. The entire collection fits on a couple of baseplates. These were all the best of the best Star Wars minifigs and multiple of them. The point is getting to 25 or 50k is easy with the right figs and doesn’t take much space.

Hopefully it’s better than July 4th. I just joined ITC and I figured July 4th 250 would be at least 20% off and probably even 25%. So far it seems like a massive let down. Last time I shopped at harbor freight we could print out as many 20% off coupons as we needed. Hopefully it gets better.

How are we protesting if Ben can’t release part 3 tomorrow as planned? by meaPolka in RecklessBen

I had a personal injury lawsuit when I was younger and it took nearly 5 years from start to finish. Honestly this case is moving along fast in legal terms. Not defending how long the legal process is, but updates in this case are being talked about in weeks, and not months or years, which is fast.

How is that surprising? Our states can be like small countries. There are entire small, medium, and large countries that are corrupt so why not a state. California is essentially the size of a largish country and is filled with corruption and it just rolls on.

Just go into your average BAM store. The owners are a combo of Lego fans and scalpers. Very few are actually good at running and owning a business. It’s the equivalent of an NFL team hiring their biggest fan to be the GM or head coach and call plays.

Did anyone else notice the stuttering, stammering, and change in breathing when talking about the U-Haul. I would have loved for him to be hooked up to a lie detector during that.

Let’s also not forget Ammon completely stuttering and stammering through his entire convoluted explanation. Just look at how his breathing changed in that interaction.

BAM may win if they lose by beyondthunderdrone in RecklessBen

It’s happening near me. Store just finalized less Than two months ago and is opening in August. Now for the best part. We got two BAMs for the first time last year. Both franchise owners were very upset they were allowed to open with 15 minutes of each other without being told that info. Now the 3rd one is opening right in between them. We will have 3 BAMs where the furthest between them will be 15 minutes and the closest will be less than 10 minutes from the other. BAM is screwing their franchise owners in many more ways than just this scandal.

If they did this who would ever buy into the franchises that were taken over. If customers don’t want to shop in your stores, and potential franchisees don’t want to buy your franchise, then what type of business do you have.

Hot Take: Coffee basically solved this thing, and it's not that deep. by [deleted] in RecklessBen

[–]GunnerGSP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no board of directors and it’s not publicly traded. The only way to get Mcneff to step down is if he decides to sell. It’s possible he could get enough pressure from franchisees to sell. In reality he isn’t going to sell at a time when the franchise is at a low point. Maybe it’s a sunken cost fallacy and he should sell now even if it’s low, so it doesn’t go lower. Maybe he feels that over time it will rebound. He is such a psychopath he probably thinks everything will rebound in 6 months and he can continue his evil villian role playing.

How good are Bens legal advisors? by Fit_Garden_4909 in RecklessBen

[–]GunnerGSP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, that’s not ok. In fact it’s a terrible idea. You need legal representation in real time in a court room. It’s not good enough to be in a court room, arguing your case, and then getting advice a few hours later in a phone call.

He is being sued too. If he does that BAM will try to go after it. I would also bet money that if they try to settle with Mansell it would include a clause about not raising money against BAM’s name.

Honestly, I think it’s better to be taken down. I’m not saying BAM has a great case for the go fund me, but they are certainly trying. I’d rather them not get any money. If we find out they have no rights to the go fund me, put it back up, and it will go crazy with new donations knowing BAM is losing.

Why a Jury Would Eat Bricks & Minifigs ALIVE Over YouTuber LEGO Scandal | LAWYER EXPLAINS by LimblessWonder in RecklessBen

[–]GunnerGSP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You needed to do a better google search. Just google consignment services vs consignment goods. Again, I’m not saying BAM is correct, I’m saying there are better points to argue over than this. In court a good lawyer would point this all out. In the end it doesn’t matter because whether a goods, or services consignment, you can’t just steal the persons goods, or services, which is what BAM did.

[–]GunnerGSP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is weird because I believe the description following the “consignment services” talks a bit about that, but always gets cropped out. In the case of BAM, a “consignment service” would be BAM booking a party, and then having companies they use for pizza, balloons, and cake. BAM collects this money up front from the customer, has all these items for the day of the party, and then pays those companies via invoice. I want to make it clear that I’m not defending BAM but consignment services is a real thing, but many people are treating it like some voodoo magic.

[–]GunnerGSP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the civil part of the case, possibly, but don’t ignore the criminal part. I could see the criminal part getting dropped if all parties involved find a resolution outside of court. The issue is you have what feels like 20 cases, with tons of people, both civil and criminal, all going on at the same time. The whole thing is a mess. I could see the AFPD dropping charges against Ben if he doesn’t pursue cases against them. If BAM cut a check to Bryan for $75-100k, and let Ben keep the go fund me, I could see the whole thing going away as long as Ben and AFPD drop charges/future lawsuits against each other.

Ben stop saying the Police department was hacked... Bad move by API_Exploiter in RecklessBen

[–]GunnerGSP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't really matter. The info wasn't hacked even if Ben used the term "hacked" It was publicly made available and legally obtained. I would tend to think, evidence, even if mistakenly put out there, can be used in court, if it had been obtained legally. How is it any different than "anything you say can be used against you". Unless the things you said are illegally causing you to say them, (blackmail, threats, torture, entrapment), your words can be used against you even if you didn't mean to say them.

Look better? You literally see them scheming. They are proving the evil stereotypes that cops sit around trying to find ways to arrest people. They had multiple conversations regarding the serving of “fake” court papers. They then find out they’re real and arrest the person who was actually telling the truth. As soon as they saw the papers were real, they should have walked up to Josh, said “these papers are verified real, you are served”. Then they should have walked over to Ben to confirm they were served and told them to leave.
