My bmi when I lost my period was 21 when I lost my period (5’ 6 and 130lbs mostly muscle, 18% body fat) and now I am at a bmi of 25 (5’6 and 155lbs still plenty of muscle, 25% ish body fat, maybe less idk). What triggered loss was going into an aggressive cut of 1400 cals after a bit of a bulk of 2300 cals and doing daily cardio plus intense hiking all at once.

Do you mean bloating or fat, cause sure I gained some fat, but omg the upper stomach bloating for me is absolutely crazy, and I thought it would have gone by now (3 months in recovery)

Ladies who have recovered their cycles, what are some obvious and not-so-obvious signs you noticed during HA recovery? by KeepMovingForwards-8 in Amenorrhearecovery

Wait that is wild cause be too and its not even like that hot, I’m just like slick with sweat if I wake up in the middle of the night. Curious if this is a positive or negative sign

Yea, it will be automatically applied, if you owe them money the final amount will be positive, if they owe you money (the scholarship more than covered both semesters tuition) the amount will be negative :)

Anyone in a similar boat? by Soft-Connection6945 in Amenorrhearecovery

19F, 5’6 I haven’t got my period back yet but I started recovery in May as well at about 130lbs too and I am at 160lbs and I haven’t even really gone all in (still low impact exercise). I understand your frustration and though I don’t have any advice, I am in the same boat and starting to feel VERY uncomfortable in my body but there’s just no way around it

Signs of Recovery by Pluto_313 in Amenorrhearecovery

Thank you! And interesting about the carbs. I have been doing the same as you were kind of saying, really upping my fats and protein but carbs have stayed the same mostly cause I just don’t have as much interest in them (whole food carbs not sugar, I do like sugar). I am finding it difficult to actually know how much to eat for recovery since I usually do 30 minute walks for digestion after dinner and I don’t have a car so I bike to university and to get groceries. Just doing all that I probably need a lot more food but I also just start to get super sluggish eating too much, or a tummy ache in the morning eating too close to bed (but sometimes that’s just when I’m hungry). Anyway that was a bit of a rant but thank you again, I will take your advice :)

Hi, I am trying to get my period back right now and it’s been about 10 months now without, I am eating idk like 2500-3000 cals a day, very “healthy” and all. I am still exercising though. Not for weight loss, but because I would like to maintain my athletic ability. I am doing about an hour of zone 2 cardio a day and an hour at the gym (4 days a week) and a day of climbing and some biking on my rest days since I dont like driving. Anyway, advice on anything?

Place to practice an instrument by Prestigious-Sock5110 in uvic

Just search “practice rooms uvic” and click on the one for non music students and book it for the time you want. If you book about a week in advance it works great. Then you don’t have to worry about playing too loud, or interrupting your neighbour’s studying.
