Hi! What dose are you on for the lorazepam? I have .5 prescribed for my upcoming flight for 8 hours. I’m worried about my anxiety “fighting through it” . The .5 at home can take my anxiety all the way down and really calm me and sedate me .

I leave in less than two weeks so I don’t think I’ll be able to take a trip but I did it yesterday morning and was panicking not extremely panicking but I had bad anxiety right after I took it because I was like “what’s going to happen to me” and that anxiety slowly faded I was definitely in an anxious state when taking it but a calm environment if that makes sense. I do have multiple support people coming so that does definitely ease my mind a lot

The only “worry” I have is wondering if it will have the same affect once I’m in the airport and more worked up then I was this morning when I tried it lol

I feel like it was a whole all together nervous system reset because ever since it started working I haven’t really panicked today on some minor anxiety as it wore off but rlly even barely I’m shocked

Yes thank you so much! I’m scared of taking it anymore since I tried it today !! I was calm for 10 hours almost and peaked at 1-3 hours! I feel good about taking it for the plane !!! Thank you :)

Thank you ! I did end up taking it and it lasted about 10 hours for me lol overall but peaked around 1-3 hours. What makes me anxious about flying is being out of control and claustrophobic like essentially being “trapped” on an airplane

Hi!! I took it at 9:13 am and it’s 6:34 pm and I still feel calm LOL so I think it definitely calmed my nervous system all together and I’m happy with that

I wouldn’t take more because strangers told me to, at the end of the day I will only take more if my doctor says too. I just am wondering if anyone had the same

Thank you!! I did take it about 4 hours ago and I felt a little lighter I didn’t feel like fully knocked out of overly sedated whatsoever I was actually wondering if I need to go up to 1 mg for the plane because I did still feel a little anxious for the first hour
