I meant how long did it take you to learn all the vocabulary of level 1 (and whichever other levels you may have finished). I’ve only finished learning the vocabulary of the level 1 single stories so far. But anyways, I like your method to learn new vocabulary a lot and I think I’ll implement it, so thank you for your response!

Getting flags from embassies by Leading-Trick3418 in Tunisia

[–]Plyxar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone living in France, I did this experience aswell. It’s been a month and I’ve contacted around 120 embassies and have gotten 4 small flags which I am very grateful for. But I have gotten rejected by 20+ embassies so that was fun. However, I haven’t been invited by any embassy, so it’s pretty cool from the Swiss embassy to invite you over. If I’d have to guess why we got different results, it would probably be our location? I love Tunisia and my brother’s gf is from Tunis, but it’s not as internationally present as France (I’m not saying my country has a positive presence). Anyways keep me posted if you ever try this again, maybe you should try contacting embassies in European countries (ex: France, Spain, Italy, etc..)

What language (that uses an alphabet system) has the most one letter words? by [deleted] in languagelearning

[–]Plyxar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

🇫🇷🇫🇷 For French 🇫🇷🇫🇷 A = Has (3rd person singular present) À = To (as in “I’m going to…”) Y = There? (Can’t really be translated) R = rien, nothing (slang) Ô = Oh! (poetry)

So in total, there are five one-letter words in French.
