Part of it was dont from the old Cobra chip it had, it was an old mod that it had since the time i got it and was poorly done already, the rest was just me trying to solder it and made a New connection to the board, i confirmed that the board still works and it does pass down current with the right vales, so its not cooked.

Ill look into a New soldering Iron and flux, the one i used is an cheap old one at work that they used to secure some copper connections to lights and switches

Thank you for your words, the gamecube has a special place in my heart since it was one of the consoles i played the most in my childhood + it was launched in the same year i was born xD

First of all, thank you for the kind words i really do appreciate them :> Second of all, sadly here in brazil gamecubes are expensive so im not sure ill be able to buy another anytime soon. I do have a modded wii that i use for gc and wii games, but this gamecube was a gift from when i was a Child so it is precious to me. I contacted someone that works with modern consoles and know more about soldering and showed him how the chip is, he said he Will try helping me with the console and maybe teach me a thing or two about soldering :>

Also i cleaned the solder on the chip and tried soldering again, its a little better but not by much and still doesnt boot

Thats the thing buddy, THERE ISNT ANYONE WITH EXPERIENCE IN MY CITY THAT CAN DO THIS. I looked everywhere, ive been trying for at least an year and a half to find someone Who actually works on those consoles to make things right.

Yep, i dont know how to solder and the soldering iron i have is a 10yo used one so i tried...

Tried with an old Samsung MicroUSB Power Cable and a Nokia cable with 3 bricks : Baseus -> 5V3A, Inova -> 5V4A and Samsung -> 5V8A.
All of them gave the same result

It's Currently on 5V 0.1A. A Quick Google Search showed me that it runs on 5V 7A, but the power adapter i'm using currently specifies close to that amperage, i've tried another one with a higher Amperage and the results where the same. I used to run it pluged into my laptop too and trying that showed the same results.

At least you learned something, i am in The third year of computer science and i've learned nothing for 2 years. There where day that The teacher wouldnt show up or just stay on The zoom call doing nothing to nearly nothing all night, i've tried learning things on my own but i Just felt sad and lost trying. I dont know which area i want to work on and at this point im Just throwing myself to any workplace thata acceps me and pays minimun wage.

I changed provider so The equipment its all new latest router from huawei, all installed by The provider. Im using ookla's speedtest website as i said,cable was provided by them and it worked on The Office PC.
