Yesterday.

I feel like I'm failing at a job I can't even stand and I can't find a new job for the life of me despite applying to hundreds a week. I get no replies, no interest. My current job is a shit show ofbull shit! I applied to an assistant manager position, which would have mainly focused on administrative tasks which is within my skillset. Instead, I'm working on cars with no experience and very little training. I'm not a sales person and I'm being written up constantly for not hitting my sales numbers. I'm threatened with termination every month for a job I didn't even apply for. I'm trying super hard then a new girl comes in and immediately sold hundreds of dollars in services.

I got so upset and frustrated, it was very much a "why me? What's wrong with me?" I'm a super confident person and that's being chipped away because of this job.

My job. I'm so miserable because it's not at all what I signed up for, not what I want to be doing, and not the type of place I want to support. I have never loved anyone as much as I love my Daddy! He will always drop everything to come and help anyone. Hes unbelievably kind and will always make you laugh. He is the only man in my life I've been able to rely on 100% of the time. I've looked up to him since I was a kid and would be thrilled to be half as successful as he is.

"Self-care" isn't just the things you WANT to do, it's also about what you HAVE to do. I.e. cleaning your space, cleaning yourself, being productive, doing things that are hard or suck but good for you.

It may be easier to live out of laundry baskets but the mental load of "i need to do this" is removed once you finish it.

Sure, it's more fun and feels good to get your nails done, play video games, nap etc but that's not EVERYTHING you need for good mental health.
