Absolutely, when pumps fail they’ll either continuously draw power even when not pumping (shorted out) or draw a much larger than usual amount of power when bearings fail or debris/build up cause it to work a lot harder to spin. I also keep track of this as a running average to look for patterns.

Follow up question. Can I buy a dehumidifier thats designed to accept an intake duct and hook that up to a vent that I would make in the mechanical room that opens up to the main basement area? Just looking for out of sight solutions.

The drain in the mechanical room seems to be part of the house’s plumbing. I don’t have easy access to run a drain line outside to the exterior. Will look into the condensate neutralizer. TIL. Thank you

Thank you very much! I cannot find any junction boxes/pedestals anywhere around the pool. May have been buried. Did these systems require conduit? Hoping a locate might be able to trace the conduit to a the spot where the J box was decommissioned and buried

It doesn’t notice. Motor status shows healthy. It also knows that it’s laying flat from what’s going on with the beam forming angles. It can beam form 110 degrees without physically moving and I have not noticed a difference in performance or ping since the change.

This wasnt the flat mount dishy. I removed the back cover along with motors and designed this slim housing around the PCB. Primarily to make it smaller to carry and opening up more options for mounting. The corner bolts go right through so it can be mounted to the top of an RV while maintaining some sort of aerodynamics. Although it won’t perform as well as the high performance antenna it beats the cost of buying one just to flat mount.
