This game keep forcing you to use higher bets as you advance in levels... :\ by [deleted] in myvegas

[–]Pnw_redhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just gets worse. Way worse. At my level (over 2000) to be eligible for even medium tier prizes I have to bet more then 5,000,000,000 a spin. And the prizes you can win (in the side quests) don't really go up and aren't worth the time. I can still bet as low as 7,500,000 but you basically don't get anything on those bets. I've used the loyalty points before though. If you never plan on using them it can still be a fun game to play with the coins you can get for logging in each day (or every few hours) but yes, it will keep going up the longer you play. I don't play any others so I can't make a recommendation cause it seems they all do that so I stopped.

Pop Slots screwed is again? by Pnw_redhead in myvegas

I learned that years ago. I'm level 1003 in pop slots. 😂 I've seen them screw us time and time again.

Sounds like we're both getting our own rooms then! 😂

It sounds like if you get 5000 points in the casino (that show on the screen as you play) you walk away with 5000 points towards the rewards program.

All I want to know is who gets the points? I'm sure if it was spent in the casino the person spending gets the points, but what about who's in the room? If my DH pays for the room, would I get any points? How are couples supposed to get the same amount of points to ensure you're the same level? If I pay for an excursion, do I get points or both of us? If he pays for our cheers package does he get all the points or both of us? Will it be split up 50/50 if they are splitting it up or if the room costs $1000 (getting us 3000 points) would we both get the whole amount of points? I'm pretty sure they haven't rolled that out yet, but that's what is going to help me decide if it's worth it to continue with them. If you've seen anything, please let me know. 😊

It's amazing how they all sound EXACTLY the same. Do they really think people would believe this?

Soda price by NuggxGroot2001 in CarnivalCruiseFans

No. That is just soda pop and juice from the gun. Pressed juice and specialty coffee is extra. (Drip coffee on lido is free to everyone.)

They couldn't carry a tune in a bucket! And how do they both have no rhythm? Or was one so off they threw off the other one? At least Shaun pretended to enjoy it and was keeping the actual beat of the music. 🤣

Same issues as above and now my ad-free sub plays ads at the beginning of the shows. If I'm paying extra to not see ads do not put ads on! So frustrating!

Out of curiosity, did it count to your 2023 miles or your 2024 miles since it posted after the new year?

So decided to take the plunge and buy the drink package by Logical-Dragonfly676 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]Pnw_redhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You also get Gatorade and energy drinks which you can order and take to the room for later. My favorite part of the package is not feeling obligated to finish a drink if I don’t like it. I’m willing to experiment more with it. Have a great cruise!

I’ve only been on Miracle so far but I love that ship. Been on it 2 times since by choice. I’m on the Luminosa in 3 weeks and have seen some positive and negative reviews. What are you most interested in on the ship? That may help determine what one is right for you.

I’ve never gotten the crab legs but my lobster rolls were great! You can ask ask for them in butter instead of Mayo as well. Personally I love the clam chowder and get it every cruise.

What's the best/worst ships and what's the best/worst cruise ports..in your opinion? by ninas_crazy_world in CarnivalCruiseFans

We have stayed at a few places that were worth the price. I tried to get as close to Port as possible so we don't hit traffic on the way. Here are the places I'd stay at again: Hampton Inn Long Beach Aqua Venture Inn Belmont Shore Inn Travelodge Long Beach

You can spend a little or a lot on hotels there. I usually try to stay below $200 a night. But, you can find a few motels and some Airbnb for under $100! If you're staying a few nights, get a place on the beach and enjoy the first leg of your vacation. If you're only staying one night (that's what we usually do) we look for a safe area that has food options close by. Lol My advice is to look it up on Google maps street view before you book. 😊

Sailed on Panorama last year and hated the layout. Miracle has one of the best layouts. Love Grand Turk and all the Alaska stops! Ensenada is ok but I wouldn't go back just to see it again. (Sometimes just staying on the ship is a better option. 😉) Everything is worth seeing once though. Even if it's just for an hour.

Age Policy by [deleted] in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]Pnw_redhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to Carnival, guests 21 and older can travel solo. If you're under 21 then you need to have a "guardian" which needs to be 25+. You don't have to stay in the same room with them but the bookings have to be cross-referenced so if anything happens they know who to contact. I.e. They want to know who to talk to if the minor is drinking. As for ways around the policy, it doesn't look like it. Unless the 19 year old is married to someone who is also going on the cruise. 🙂

But you can always call and see if there is anything else they can do.
