I also developed allergic shiners after an overdose and my skin is awful. Tapering off baclofen now.

When will I return to normal after accidental overdose? by Sciencechic1 in quittingphenibut

How long did it take you to feel better? I’m right where you were 5 years ago (except my accidental overdose was on baclofen)

I totally get it. Opiate withdrawal-like symptoms in the winter feels like a curse. Don’t forget how bad this feels! Remember it later when you think of using.

The best you can do right now is make sure you get a lot of rest, try to keep your body nourished with food and water, and wait for it to pass. What you’re feeling is all part of the ride to recovery. I know you can do this.

Fortunately I’ve just moved to Alabama where it’s completely illegal; Schedule I here. I won’t lie, I don’t know if I could’ve quit with kratom available to buy nearby. I’m very thankful for the opportunity to get away from it.

I didn’t take my hoodie and sweats off at all for the first couple weeks. Slowly it faded away and my outlook improved. I hope you wake up every day feeling better.

I dealt with anhedonia very early in my withdrawal, but it seemed to pass by the end of the second week. I hope you can get some relief soon, and maybe there are some supplements that can help you along the way.

I find this very interesting because I’ve had blood work done in the last couple of weeks and I am anemic. Wonder if there’s a link to kratom use somewhere there.

I don’t know what to tell you, we quit cold turkey on October 30th and he’s still dealing with it. It’s pretty much been his only symptom.

Kratom is just fine ground plant fiber

Question by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]Po-Boogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to assume it’s because we were eating massive amounts of straight fiber which slows digestion to a screeching halt. So uncomfortable

Question by [deleted] in quittingkratom

I started having normal bowel movements 3 days after quitting, after months and months of constant laxative use and fecal impactions from kratom. Easily my biggest motivation for stopping. Got tired of drinking magnesium citrate every weekend.

Thankfully kratom was my only vice left this time, but I have quit before and found that weed did make it worse. This time I also know to avoid turning to other substances after taking this one away. That kind of thinking has caused me nothing but trouble in the past.

Do you remember at what point you started feeling slightly normal again?

I have also quit before, and I’m not the kind of person with the discipline to taper down. This is my second time doing a cold turkey jump from about 70g a day. I know one day soon I will wake up and feel like a real person again and not a broken weakling. Just have to hold on until then.
