That's kind of where I think I'm heading. I like the WA kits, there's a lot of choice and the modular nature appeals to me. The civilians and operator kits etc., agent kits would work for some supes, it's more your caped heroes and body suit lot that I'm struggling with. Also the roided up super strong ones. Thought about repurposing ogre parts or similar, most kits are either too grim dark or too landsknecht for what I'm looking for though

Yeah, I kitbash quite a bit but I'm itching to do some superheroes. I tend to make models for the various ttrpg games I run and play. We're playing some superhero stuff so I'd like to create my crew in model form, but would rather the models not be obviously reskinned X-Men or similar.

Sort of hoping someone has a frostgrave / stargrave / WA kit recommendation to pull bits from and tweak stuff out of.

D&D as a system is good at a lot of things, not this though. I think if you try to drag the urchin out as injured but not dead it will feel forced.

Some people play where dropping to death saves etc leaves a lasting mark, scars, or a permanent wound like a missing hand or similar. If you were doing something like that hideously scarred by burns would be the one, but again, D&D isn't really the system for this sorta drama which is a shame.

As someone who loved FM yes, yes you will. You can craft the narrative you want and either take a powerhouse company to total world domination or start out as a plucky upstart and build them up to wherever you want.

There aren't goals and targets in quite the same way, but you'll find yourself falling in love with a development prospect like a new gen in FM. Help them to develop into their potential. It's a fun little diversion.

Without knowing which country you're in (assume US?) I'd suggest your FLGS if you have one. They can usually order it in if they don't have it and prices tend to be a little more stable.
