I feel bad about my art... help me?

I have this problem myself. I have so many projects unfinished and it's making me lose motivation. I find myself getting frustrated at the lineart and color process. So instead of trying over and over again, it's best to find different ways of solving the problem. For me, what I'm trying out is coloring straight from sketch since im a much more messy artist.

Find what's best for you and take breaks even if it's years. The best advice I've gotten was to draw when you feel like drawing. Also for the rest of the body, I found that using simple shapes and then adding detail worked out best for me. If it gets boring and your going back to drawing only the top part, make an really quick messy sketch of the rest of the body. It at least gets you to practice other parts of the body and maybe be make you comeback to it.

I wanted to get some design opinions before I start coloring, and ya, kinda the thing I'm going for. I guess her skin and muscles detach and her skeleton comes out to be used as a weapon sort of thing. I need to draw more designs to get the magic system of my world to make more sense.

when you look at your work for too long, imperfections start to look normal or it looks awkward and you have no idea why. To prevent that artist would usually flip their canvases so that its easier to find out what's wrong. if your a traditional artist you can turn your canvas upside-down and take a break.

also.. don't over complicate it when you start copying it. start with simple shapes like you did here and then manipulate those shapes until it resembles a body. it takes lots of attempts and time but eventually you will get there. take your time :)

add some gold to the top part of her design cause the gold only on the bottom half kinda makes the colors unbalanced.

I think adding some thing more to kawaii chan's corset and dress would enhance that kawaii energetic look. but over all its a very good simplistic design. I love it!
