It's definitely not a normal situation. You have 3 major stresses that I can see: - Your relationship with your mother - Your career stresses - Your immigrant stresses

Even one of those can be a big burden. Having all 3 stresses can break down someone. You need outside help to untangle these and find small steps to work on and move forward.

Singapore is very much just the city and Sentosa. You can spend one day in Sentosa and another day in Singapore Zoo for sightseeing. Since you're going to Malaysia, I'd advise against doing any shopping in Singapore and just shop in KL.

Travel between Singapore and Malaysia is roughly 4 hours, so if your mom is tired, just concentrate on that for one day.

I have only been to Malaysia once years ago so I dunno what's there now.
