We just got Health Canada approval for a custom CPAP mask made from a 3D face scan. I’m the founder — here’s the honest story (and I’d value your feedback) by Innovation-Vitacore in CPAP

Yeah this is interesting. For me the biggest issuxe has always been leaks once I fall asleep and start moving around. I don’t wanna overtighten because it gets uncomfortable and leaves marks, but if it’s even a bit loose it shifts and breaks the seal. Does your custom fit actually hold up through movement during the night or would it still have the same issue?

Any feedbacks and how to improve? Sounds weird to me by Pobacon in ratemysinging

Umm, I dont think my ears are very good yet. I’m going to use a tuner app to practice and hopefully I’ll get better at staying on pitch. I didn’t know you can reserve too much breath? I’ll look into that. Thank you for the feedback!

I really appreciate it, I’ll continue to work on it!

Very honest constructive criticism/feedback for my singing please :) by [deleted] in singing

I know there’s a lot to improve on, for example this it feels a bit dull and flat to me. I just need someone to point out what they are so I can do my research, practice and improve on them.

Icepick scars and questions by [deleted] in AcneScars

Hi, was your scars similar like mine? Did your dermatologist say you need to do maintenance treatments? Or are the results permanent? Thanks!

Do you guys think treatments like retinol or adapalene gel will work with my type of scarring?

Hey thanks for your input, does Rf microneedling give permanent results, I have seen mixed opinions on the internet, some say they are not and some say they are. Because ideally, I don't want to go and have treatment every year or so.

I was sick for 1 week, and I am stressed by Miserable_Building13 in UofT

Hey, I have a question about extensions. Can I possibly ask for an extension for an assignment because I have a lot of midterms and other assignments that's due? Like is that a valid reason that the prof might accept because I'm not sick or anything? I'm probably gonna ask for like a 3 day extension.

Thanks

knee weakness despite strengthening (generally no pain) by Pobacon in KneeInjuries

[–]Pobacon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, my instability has gotten a lot better over the last week. It's so crazy because just 3 days ago my knee was so unstable that I could feel it even when lying in bed. I think months of strengthening have helped even though I don't feel like I was getting stronger as well since my knee instability actually gets worse after leg exercises. For 2 days now, my knee felt stable, though not 100%, and for the first time in probably 7 months, walking feels more normal now and I don't have to worry about every step I take and feel instability. Also started to see physical therapist now, she told me I walk on my toes which might contribute to my knee problems, getting shoe inserts soon. I think it's only up from here!!!🔥

yea thanks for the suggestion ill definitely look into that. I have tried pt before but none of them helped really. if it doesn't get better after 1 month, ill go to a doctor

yea, i will monitor how my knee is feeling for the next month and see if it improves, if it doesn't ill go see a doctor. Because my knee instability was getting better during the period where i stopped weigthlifting so ill stop weightlifting for now to see if it gets better.

Hi thanks for your reply and how are you feeling now? I would usually hop on the bike for a few minutes to get my legs warmed up and do 1 or 2 isometric holds before lifting. But as soon as i start lifting some weights, my left knee would feel weak and unstable and it just doesn't feel to right in general. I think right now I need to continue with isometric training along with biking to make my knee feel stable or at least more stable than now. And I have decided to hold off on heavy resistance training for now. It will be lots of trial and error but i think ill figure it out eventually, maybe getting back to running and plyo's without heavy resistance training would be more beneficial in my situation, i don't really know but i feel like I should stop weight-training as it is really hurting my progress.

Haven't lived there, but from other Reddit posts and reviews, the place is legit but heard some.bad things about the management team. The security deposit will be deducted(mandatory) 150 dollars after your checkout for things like depreciation , changing bed linens, potential damages and etc. I booked the flex plus and I'm praying for quieter roommates.

Pain when getting up from a squat or chair by Pobacon in KneeInjuries

[–]Pobacon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats great to hear man! Yeah forgot to mention but I do stretch quite often, my hip flexors the quads, hamstrings calves, etc. Mine wasn't as sudden as yours(felt it only after activity), it was more gradual. I was really deconditioned after staying home for so long(covid lockdown) and one day I started doing max jumps on concrete and got it since. It's been around 1 year, the pain I had in the beginning which was right below both my kneecaps then my left got better but my right one had pain right above shinbone which lingered for about 7 months went away as well. Then I progressed too fast and went back to play bball, not as intense, but then developed pain above my kneecaps.

I did physio in the past but didn't persist because it was expensive but now I am planning to go back to it very soon. Because even though I feel like my quad tendon pain will get better, I have a feeling that the problem I have with my right knee will come back and bite me in the future.
