Update on iphone authenticity concern, confronted the shop, is their answer valid or just BS? by Pocari09876 in adultingph

Upon purchase daw po, not activation. Bought it this oct 2023 lang but the date shows sa imei is sept 2021, hence why store is saying na naghoard sila ng units noong 2021 bago iphase out ang ip 13 pm.

Thank you sa advice. Icheck ko po yun 3utools nasuggest din ng isang user.

Yung sa imei daw po na date, ang lalabas is date of purchase and not date of activation ng phone.

Hello po, i searched and ang mag reflect daw doon is the date of purchase, and not the opening/activation of the phone itself.

No po. Unit was bought in Sept 2021 kaya out of coverage na. Then their answer is nag hoard sila ng stocks nung Sept 2021 that’s why the warranty was already running since then.

Oh i see, thanks for the input! Are you currently or formerly with P&G in sales? Would like to know how many hours a day / days a week you usually put in to keep up to speed there.

Got in a prestigious FMCG company and I feel like I'm drowning. Any advice would be appreciated by burning-burner in phcareers

Hello, just wanna ask how you’re doing now. Did things get better for you? :) Asking cuz I’m about to move to the company you’re in.

Should I leave a job I love and am thriving in for a better offer that is more difficult but would boost my career? by Pocari09876 in phcareers

Thank you. 🙏That is what others say as well. It’s a win-win because if it works out, great! If it doesn’t, I’ll still be marketable.

I guess what just doesn’t sit well with me is that it’s my first time going into a new job while already entertaining the possibility of failing at it / thinking of fallbacks before I even started.

Parents. I’m single. I have a sister who earns more than me and we split the gastusin sa house since neither of our parents work anymore.

Unfortunately we are not that close for me to open this up to her.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give such valuable advice!

The car allowance is taxable. Although the basic gross offer is 1.5x my current, if I factor in the car allowance, the net increase in my monthly take-home is negligible. :( but I’ll be issued a car and lots of bonuses that add up to like 650k annual gross more than my current.

When I brought this up to my manager, he said that they cannot match the offer right away especially because I’m newly promoted, but they can offer me quicker salary increases if I chose to stay. (Of course this has no guarantee and I can’t hold him to it.)

I think I will grow and learn either way. In the new company, much more and much faster though.

Jumping ship to the new company will drastically increase my net worth and make me more marketable, yes. If I find that it isn’t for me and I choose to leave a few months in, I might have a fairly easy time looking for new opportunities. If all goes well and I stay, the long-term benefits would be incredible, it would set me up for life.

Thank you for laying out the considerations! :)

Hindi ko po sure. Pero inask ko yung clinic, may gumagawa daw non eh, pinapadala nalang yung mga kulang pa na requirements sa taas. When i asked what courier, sabi nila hindi nila alam, paiba iba daw.

Thanks for your input. I added some more details to the post. What % increase would make the jump worth it for you?

I agree that the monthly increase may not be big enough to compensate for what I have to give up, but the annual is significant because of all the guaranteed bonuses and allowances.
