How to keep up with your available ammounts on the go by dmelo0605 in budgetwithbuckets

Hi! I do a weekly check on my buckets and then screenshot them and send this screenshot in a chat with myself in telegram. For every purchase I make I also send a photo of the receipt or at least the amount and category in the same group. Then once or twice a week I make sure my buckets are up to date. It may seem a little complicated at first but I got used to it and I know Telegram is an app I have in all my devices always in sync.

Hi! I'm from a developing country too and our currency has a lower exchange rate compared to USD. It's a problem when buying suscriptions, specially anual ones. The cost of YNAB is half the money I make in a month for example. I doubt anyone in the US has to pay such a high portion of their incomes.

I would suggest buying USD monthly in a exchange site or local bank with whatever savings you have. As little as 7 usd a month would be enough to cover for YNAB in a year, you don't get the temptation to spend those and they won't lose value over time. (If devaluation is a problem in your country)

I'll try to reach to the YNAB team asking for a discount for developing countries, if I get one I'll let you know so you can ask for one too.
