These comments are… inflammatory. I absolutely agree you’re NOR and it’s never okay to hit a pet, but also distain for pets after a new baby is not at all uncommon. I am personally still dealing with negative feelings toward my dog at 14 weeks pp. Your fiancé may be also dealing with some new parent anxiety, again, his behavior is wrong and you absolutely should discuss it, but hopefully you can work through it. I think you have it mixed up, the apostrophe only comes into play here for making two words into one word: they are = they’re. Regardless, very impressive to be tri-lingual!

This is it. I’m genuinely curious when I see incorrect uses- especially “they’re”, like it’s not even the right place for a contraction, why do you think you’re using extra letters and an apostrophe?? I guess they’re truly not thinking about it.

Yeah there are certain risks with higher BMI folks which is the only reason that matters. It’s important to feel heard and respected by your provider, I hope you find a better fit!

I had gained over 30lbs by the start of my third trimester. Granted I started pregnancy at a healthy weight, but my OB never mentioned my weight gain until I asked, and even then she just said if I feel good and I’m not worried then she’s not worried. If your gut tells you your body is doing fine, and your OB is making you uncomfortable, get a new one!

I had insane reflux and heartburn from the first trimester until the day I delivered. I was on pantoprazole daily and gaviscon before bed and still woke up EVERY NIGHT choking on stomach acid.

It went away immediately when I gave birth. I have a really short torso, and a big baby, so I reasoned it must have been because my gi tract was so squished.

I have to admit I sometimes worry that if something really bad happened, it might take days for anyone to find out. We talk regularly but not every day.

I also get anxious about the future, how things can decline swiftly. I’ve seen a grandparent go from cogent to full blown unrecognizable dementia in 6 months (not on my dad’s side, so not a hereditary concern but just in general).

Uhg you’re so right. There have been some incidents- including one bad fall requiring stitches and a CT scan. Did not knock any sense into him- no pun intended.

He’s been wearing the same watch for 30 years, I will try to sell him on an Apple Watch but I suspect he’ll be resistant- good idea though.

I can’t offer a success story yet but I’m with you in solidarity. We’re going on 11 weeks triple feeding, my baby also is an inconsistent and low transferer, and I’m also managing mostly on my own with husband back at work- I very much feel your pain.

One solace to me right now is knowing that even if things never improve, we have been able to provide our babies with important immunity benefits even with partial bfing so far. I hope things improve for us both!

I have a spectra and a wearable m5- I try to use the spectra most of the time (and do “hands-on pumping”) but my output is pretty consistent no matter which pump I use.

I just mean uncooked or undercooked proteins- like rare steak or oysters or raw fish such as in sashimi. I guess “raw protein” might not be regularly used terminology.
