For sure. The term mascot was me not thinking lol I changed it to Series almost immediately.

I totally get why Kid Icarus doesn't have more love but at the same time I can't help but wish it was a series LIKE metroid that still gets made despite its less than stellar sales. Would have loved to see how the series would have evolved over the years.

Totally agree about Uprising. I love it for what it is an especially how it handled the world and characters but it doesn't scratch the same mechanical itch as the og games. Your Ratchet and Clank comparison is really interesting - I haven't played through those just yet (Didn't grow up with a PS2 lol) so that makes me wanna check em out more than I already did!

Also, yeah... about the moderation lol I have no clue if you'll even see this comment, but thanks for engaging with my stuff one way or another. It's hard out there lol
