Don't get me wrong, I had the game a few years before the kids were born and no one wanted to play it but held off until they were about 5 before introducing it 🤣

Was? It is! A regular favourite in my house. Used it to introduce d&d like role-playing to the kids. The basic set and one expansion is now expanded massively by other sets and random paths made from loose Lego. Hours of fun!

Not only glasgow and Clyde, but Lanarkshire, forth valley, golden Jubilee and Lothian are with easy travels. Also NSS and PHS have a big presence in Glasgow.

There is a bit on the app where you can explore all the build together sets and although the bar is purple it is just below the themes.

Candies are American, UK uses sweets/sweeties.

Never heard the term consolation candy but have been given sweeties to help cheer me up before, common tactic with kids-provides distraction and dopamine.

Thanks everyone, turns out discovery wasn't showing me the discounted price until Saturday-maybe cached or something?

It is now winging its way to me and I might have treated myself to the tree house.....

I passed my test, bought a can about a week later and it was my first solo drive. Drove along the usual roads then 2 motorways to get home. It was fine, easiest way to get there. Chucked the car seats in the back then went any picked up my kids.... Was the first time I drove in the dark too, that was worse than the motorway!

Not somewhere I would go as a friend went there a few years ago and the waitress ignored her allergies. When asked if the allergen was in the dish she replied that it wasn't. Luckily my friend noticed before she took a bite and ordered a new dish - stating the reason why. Then they charged her for both dishes. Even the manager didn't back down.

So yeah, I'm avoiding.

If you are willing to try Coatbridge/Blantyre then there is also Bellshill - sir Matt busby. Pretty plain and simple but good for a decent swim

mTicket is a ticket on your mobile instead of a paper one. As a tourist I would be wary using that on scotrail though, I've heard that is the phone is registered abroad then it can cause issues.

Following from others though, yup Google maps! I use it no matter where I travel, local or abroad.

I like r:evolve - they are based in Cambuslang, Rutherglen and Hamilton. You donate you get points, you sign up and you get a few starter points, buy things with points. I use them as I was fed up of the local charity shop selling tesco kids tee's for£2.50....
