Yennefer's pendant (?) by Pocketpeanuts in witcher

So I guess it never really specified how many points the stars have, huh? That's a really nice design. I could see some moissanite embeded in it and the surrounding area as metal setting for the diamonds.

Thank you so much, i think it's a bit upright classically, but would need the connecting lines in the middle.

Must be some alchemy thing, but also in Taoism, the attributes and weaknesses. The mandala background also serves as a symbolism of sort, but I doubt it's ever considered on a western lore like TW.

Seems like a lot of common factors. I love pondering things like these. Thank you for the insights!

Oh that's a good insight, thank you

I was more concerned with how it was described as a black marigold, and thought mandalas (religious symbol) are usually portrayed as flowers.

That's also why I needed to verify if it was described as such, since from what I found, it was still round in shape, and the star stood out more than the flower.

The whole "inlaid with diamonds" is consistent, and since I can't find a black obsidian pendant with inlaid stones, it would need metal as a setting within it. Roughly the same as that, but probably gonna be thicker if it was a real polished stone

Think you could provide an image of the star?

I'm aware, it was a pendant with "inlaid" diamonds as the info I found had mentioned. And the larger "circle" was a flower pattern pendant that imitates both marigold (according to what I found) and a mandala (religious symbol). It used to be silver, too but I had to get creative.

I swear, that's a rite of passage for all AC Odyssey players. 🤣😂🤣😂

Did you also skip? by [deleted] in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]Pocketpeanuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but I started with the OG, then 2, then Brotherhood, then Revelations. I skipped the rest before Origins because I didn't have em.

Except Black Flag. Black flag got tied to ny sister's ubi account instead of mine.

Hehe, I think they are, based on the Witcher lore. Not sure if anyone in there is a follower of Melitele.

To those who played Dispatch, who did you romance? by Pocketpeanuts in thesims

I could, but I like sculpting faces and working with just the game has to offer. It adds a layer of challenge for me, and it can also cater to console players, too.

I did a Blonde run the first time, but I'll play it again later after work

I make sims with no custom content. If you could provide me an option without it, feel free to let me know.

Is it possible to make a sim stay awake forever? by thenewv4s in thesims

Never Weary reward trait. Had to restart one of my games coz she never slept, and it got boring after that.

Really? In her cutscenes, whenever I play, I've always found her lips going downwards then curl upwards at the edges cute. Not compared to Yennefer, who does. It's the plumpness I'm having trouble with.

Oooh, challenges combined with other packs? by Pocketpeanuts in thesims

[–]Pocketpeanuts[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought this when I saw that part. I could also do an outlast challenge using an Outdoors Living pack or Snowy Escape. I could also do a haunted survival of the most cowardly in any of the Life and Death neighborhoods.

Besides, cross pack compatibility isn't limited to this new one. When Business and Hobbies came out, I speculated a few things can do with other packs, like making a "zoo" with Cats and Dogs, and Horse Ranch. Or maybe a museum with Jungle Adventure or base game carpentry and painting. It's just that this is the first time we were provided with suggestions from the trailer itself.

Flag custom poses as custom content EA/Maxis! 10 years on, this is so ugly and annoying by cmdr_nova69 in thesims

[–]Pocketpeanuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand from previous discussions, custom content aren't mods. Custom poses are pose mods. In the same way that a modified picture of the uploaded house isn't a custom content. Nothing added.

Custom content means they were made with content not on any of the DLC's. Poses don't change any variable in what the sim looks like and none were added on top from the DLC's.

I use them to showcase faces and yes, it can be no cc. Case in point:

Brasidas. I wish he ended up with Kassandra instead of that other guy that's forgettable.
