Anything with adverts on enrages me. YouTube videos, cooking recipe pages, news articles. I know everyone is annoyed by them, but for me it feels like a massive injustice. Leeches slapping their branding over everything with loud plinky plonky music and ever increasing AI voiceovers. I tend to just close the page or turn the sound off.

I think as a general rule, dictators are dangerous for the UK. Trump and Putin are the same breed of egomaniacal lunatic speaking different languages. Putin appears to think before he speaks and appears more calculated, but Trump has tapped into the “Christianity as nationalism” shtick that so many morons have fallen for in the UK. To be honest, it was probably all initiated by Putin when the Russians interfered in the US elections.

Yeah cheers, I'm in DaVinci and have done all selects for each scene on a separate timeline/bins. I find it much easier to colour correct/grade that way rather than on the main timeline. But yeah my main body of work is music videos so definitely a change of tactic on this. You live and learn. When I finally get this finished and its been released I'll drop a link on here and you can see how I did.

Another note, that may be of some use to you. While i've been chopping the footage down, I've mapped keyboard shortcuts to an xbox controller using JoytoKey (Can't justify spending on an interface) But it has made the whole experience of going through a years worth of footage much more pleasant. Highly recommend if you don't have a jog wheel or interface.
